Well, it is now official, all of our children...Angie, Khrista, Rachel AND Jacob are happily married. Our girls have provided Debbie and I with seven wonderful grandchildren and Jake and his bride with seven wonderful nieces and nephews. Jacob and the love of his life, Marissa, got married in April and are expecting their first child in January (our eight grandchild). We purchased a home in Elizabeth City, North Carolina on March 30th of this year and since then, as stated above, Jake and Marissa were married and Jake also enlisted in the Navy through its delayed entry program and will be heading off to boot camp September 10th in Great Lakes, Il. Following that he will report to Submarine school in New London Ct. He and Marissa are staying with us. Once Jake finishes his training Marissa will join him. Rachel and Matt recently sold their house in Portsmouth, Va. and are staying with us also until the home they bought in Elizabeth City is built...probably in August they will be able to move into their new home.
